Guardiola defends Sanchez 'failure' at Man Utd

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has backed Alexis Sanchez to rekindle the form displayed prior to his Manchester United misery, after the Chilean joins Inter Milan.  Sanchez, 30, has endured a torrid spell in Manchester since joining the Red Devils from Arsenal 18 months ago, netting three times in 32 appearances for the club.  That form has seen the winger fall down the pecking order at Old Trafford, with Ole Gunnar Solskjær opting for younger options instead. The City manager believes Inter boss Antonio Conte is the right man to get the best out of the talented Chilean.  'I know him,' said Guardiola. 'So now he decided to move Italy with one of the greatest teams in Europe with Inter right now, incredible manager with Antonio Conte, and I'm pretty sure they are going to do well. Playing close to (Romelu) Lukaku and in this position I think he is going to have a good period in Milan.'
