Strictly's Motsi Mabuse insists she will judge sister Oti fairly on show

And Motsi Mabuse has revealed that she has no intention of favouring her professional dancer sister Oti as she joins the judging panel for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.  The new BBC ballroom judge, 38, has insisted that 'her life is fairness', in reaction to critics who believe the show will be biased due to their close family connection.   According to The Sun, the announcement of Motsi's new role led the show's veteran pro dancers to whisper backstage as they were reportedly angry about the choice and feared it could result in biased scores. '  Motsi explained to the publication that the sisters are 'on different paths' and that 'nobody should be bigger than the show' itself.  Declaring that the judges do not need to judge the pro dancers because of their incredible ability, Motsi joked that her sister Oti will still be on the look out for harsh feedback from her sibling.  She said: 'She’s used to me saying something about her dancing because I’ve taught her from the minute she could walk. The sisters' working together on the popular BBC dance competition has caused concerned fans to flee to Twitter to discuss their 'bias' doubts.  One user shared: 'Not hugely surprised at the new judge being Motsi and I'm sure she'll be a great addition to the judges panel but poor Oti ain't ever lifting that glitterball now.' '  The BBC have also dismissed reports of a bias since Motsi has extensive experience of judging her younger sister, 29, in a fair and impartial way. A BBC insider told MailOnline: 'Motsi and Oti have been in this position before as judge/pro dancer on the German version of the show for multiple series - and were much loved.' Oti has already had a taste at what it would be like to judge, having appeared on this year's The Greatest Dancer alongside fellow captains Matthew Morrison and Cheryl.
