Influential England trio to make Saracens return after break following World Cup

Saracens go into Friday's clash against Bath with all guns blazing as they seek to repair the damage caused by their points deduction for breaching Premiership salary cap regulations. Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje and Billy Vunipola all return for the first time since England’s World Cup Final defeat 26 days ago and are joined in the starting line-up by fellow finalists Elliot Daly, Mako Vunipola, Jamie George and George Kruis, all of whom played against Ospreys last weekend. Furthermore, Jack Singleton and Ben Spencer — members of England’s squad in Japan — as well as Vincent Koch, who won the tournament with South Africa, are on the bench. Director of rugby, Mark McCall, said this week that his players are in a surprisingly positive state of mind. Bath is a really big match.” Saracens will open their books to the Premiership for a mid-season salary cap audit in a bid to confirm that they are operating legally this year and McCall says the players have “drawn a line” under the issue.
