Barcelona, Juventus agree swap deal for three players plus £22m

According to Sport, a deal has been agreed between the clubs to see Miralem Pjanic and Mattia de Sciglio swap Turin for Catalunya, in exchange for Nelson Semedo. Now all players must agree respective contracts with their potential new employers for the move to go through, and it will almost certainly see Juve boss Maurizio Sarri turn his attention to a reunion with Chelsea midfielder Jorginho. Pjanic’s departure from the base of the Bianconeri midfield will open up a spot at Juve, where Manchester United's Paul Pogba has also been linked with a return. The Italy international is also adept at left-back, where Barca spent big on Junior Firpo last year, but have earmarked his sale this summer as they seek further funds. All three will see out the current seasons - both Serie A and La Liga remain suspended - with their present clubs, both of whom are also still in the Champions League, which its hoped will be played in August.
