An elderly woman is fighting for her life in hospital after what is believed to have been a domestic incident in north London. Police were called soon before 8.30pm to a residential address in Southgate Road, Islington, and found the man with knife injuries and the woman, who was unresponsive. Residents shared footage of the scene on Twitter, as a stream of emergency crews flocked to the residential road.
