K-League offers first glimpse of football after coronavirus shutdown

In the 11am kick-off on Friday, UK football fans headed to YouTube to catch a glimpse of the clash between Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, the reigning Korean champions, and Suwon Bluewings. The visitors found themselves with a tough task with a quarter of an hour to go after Australian midfielder Tony Antonis was shown a straight red card for a late challenge. And that proved costly as the league's oldest-ever player, 41-year-old Lee-dong Gook, came off the bench to head home from a corner with seven minutes to go to get Jeonbuk off to a winning start at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium.
