Morgan issues grovelling apology to Gaga after Together At Home gaffe

Good Morning Britain host Piers, 55, is no stranger to taking swipes at self serving celebrities who like to promote themselves even when the world is in turmoil. Following the airing of the One World: Together At Home concert in the UK on Sunday, Piers ate humble pie and tweeted Gaga to congratulate her on curating a standout night of entertainment in the name of a good cause. “I owe you an apology @ladygaga,” the TV star wrote on Twitter on Sunday night.  “This was a great initiative that raised a fortune, entertained people, & will help save lives,” Piers continued. Piers was furiously backtracking after previously hitting out on Twitter to question why Gaga was working with the World Health Organisation amid the coronavirus pandemic. The One World: Together At Home special – which aired in the UK on the BBC as well as various USA channels and global streaming services – raised over £100 million to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.
