This is the first place Brits say they would like to visit after lockdown

With hundreds of gardens and houses scattered across the country and their large open spaces spilling over with history, it's not hard to see why. When it comes to the first thing people want to do, a visit to a much-loved relative topped the list, followed by a bite to eat at a restaurant or cafe, a drink in the pub and an appointment at the hairdressers. After a National Trust property, the top UK attraction Brits would like to take a trip to is the Natural History Museum, followed by Blackpool Pleasure Beach, London Zoo and Alton Towers. The research also found that 17% of people are looking forward to visiting a beach, with surfing paradise of Fistral Beach in Cornwall topping the list, ahead of Bournemouth, Brighton, Perranporth and Blackpool. It also revealed that 73% of people feel that the government restrictions have made them appreciate the outdoors more, while 22% have actually dreamt about what they’ll do when life gets back to normal.
