Full Liverpool injury list as Premier League season resumes

Mo Salah was left out of the friendly against Blackburn Rovers and was noticeably absent from the first set of training photos released by the club bringing in doubts over whether the Egyptian will start vs Everton. However, those concerns were eased with more pictures emerging of a smiling Salah in full training with Klopp refusing to rule out the attacker. Like Salah, the Scotland international was also left out of the side that faced Blackburn Rovers but Klopp has insisted that they 'all look good' and is expected to be in contention for the Merseyside derby. But this season, Shaqiri has been hampered with a number of muscle injuries that have restricted him to making just 11 appearances in all competitions, nearly all of them as a substitute. Shaqiri was the only player ruled out by manager Jurgen Klopp for the Merseyside derby, bringing his Anfield future in doubt. His last appearance for the Reds came in the 5-1 thrashing of Arsenal in December 2018, and he was then shipped out on loan to Bournemouth, where he played 14 times in the Premier League.
