West Ham shock Chelsea in London derby

Aaron Cresswell eased the pressure on Manuel Pellegrini with a second-half winner to give his side an unlikely London derby victory at Chelsea . The left-back cut in from Pablo Fornals’ 48th-minute pass to bend in a wonderful goal as West Ham won for the first time in over two months. West Ham were denied a second when Michail Antonio was adjudged by VAR to have handled when he converted Robert Snodgrass’ cross on the line. Under-fire Pellegrini got his tactics spot on as he dropped beleaguered keeper Roberto with David Martin making his club debut. Pellegrini finally dropped Roberto with David Martin coming in for his West Ham debut, 18 months after he last played for Millwall. Hammers supporters cheered every touch and chanted “England’s No.1” at a man who has spent the majority of his career at MK Dons.
