MEN Sport understand Pep Guardiola is keen to strengthen his options at the back as a result of some calamitous defending at times this season, with injuries also causing selection issues. Both Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko have struggled for fitness and Angelino failed to impress following his summer transfer resulting in a January loan switch to RB Leipzig.
